Hello there
What I’ve been working on recently:
- Learned how to make GIFs
- Reignited a long lost Twitter account
- Started a Tower Defence prototype
GIFs
GIFs are fun. They are even more fun to make! Did you know that GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format? I didn’t.
Above you can see my first creation. I used OBS studio to capture video and then giphy.com to convert it. Rainbow text was not something I knew I needed in my life
I had completely forgotten that I’d made an account back in 2016. Fortunately Twitter hadn’t forgotten me and after a quick password reset I was back online, unfollowing lots of accounts I don’t remember subscribing to.

Tower Defence Prototype
I absolutely love Tower Defence games, so I’m going to make one.
What is a TD game? Basically, the player has to protect their base from enemies. Usually the enemies come in waves. The further you get in the game, the more enemies per wave (or the harder the enemies become!). Players put down Towers which shoot at the enemies as they pass. Often there are different types of towers which are more effective against different classes of enemies.
I’m happy with my progress so far:
- Basic tower blueprint
- Basic enemy blueprint
- Enemy spawn point / enemy objective
- Enemy path made
- Map
Next devlog will be later on this week with more updates (and GIFs with rainbow text)
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
